Savia Agave Niche opened its doors for curated tastings in 2023 in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone – officially, the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood. Founder Isis Hernández loves and lives to take people to agave spirit school.
With 27 years experience in the Mexican and US hospitality industries, after managing the largest independent Tequila tasting room in the city of Tequila, and years working for prestigious tequila brands, Savia Agave Niche was born — the niche for agave sap.
Isis again challenges statistics and boring work “scripts” to share her infectious sense of self education and self discovery. She knows that everyone learns differently. What is instructive for some is lost on others.
Savia Agave Niche offers an excellent selection of artisanal agave spirits where Jalisco’s two distillates predominate: Raicilla and Tequila; and are accompanied by a well-honed selection of Mezcal and some Bacanoras and Sotoles.
At Savia Agave Niche the tasting treatment is simple, calm and honest. Information is shared at each individual’s pace and greater importance is given to the curiosity and specific quests of each guest.
At Savia we offer guided tastings where Isis becomes the moderator and interpreter between the distillate and the guest. At Savia, people talk, ideas are exchanged and the senses and the distillate are merged.
